Hola
After our adventure to Cadiz yesterday, we decide on a "do nothing day" - that ends up being 15,000 steps 😧. And before we start our story, for those concerned about the state of our marriage after the one and a half hour search for the "Decaf, Oat milk, Americano or something, take away, blessed by the whales etc" coffee incident, we've now bought a "marriage saving" thermos - great idea Bob, works a treat!

After lunch we decide to walk into the Centre of El Puerto de Santa Maria (the beachside little town we're staying in) to have a look around. It’s only 1.5km and we stick to the shade as much as we can, but it’s still hot. See the Bull ring but it’s closed, and keep going to find a series of streets with restaurants and bars most of them open but not as busy as it had been the night before in the taxi home from train station (it’s a public holiday today for those not keeping up). Arrive down by the water, and turn towards home, find the Castelo (closed of course).

OK we find supermarcado, buy some beef burgers for dinner tonight and water then slowly trudge back to campground. It’s still hot! Relax for the rest of afternoon sitting in shade of van with a cool breeze, and wait for beer time.
Next day we catch train to Jerez - recommended as part of the sherry triangle.
Adios until tomorrow.
